Steve Venne, PT
Steve Venne, PT is the owner of SCPT. He attended College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and has been practicing for over 30 years. He and his wife, Beth, have 5 kids ranging in age from 11-19. He is extremely passionate about his career and goes above and beyond to help patients reach their goals.
Zachary Schoenrock, PT, DPT
Born and raised in Siouxland, Zach initially went to the University of Iowa to study Athletic Training following graduation from Hinton High School. He worked in the Siouxland area for 3 years prior to going to Arizona for further study. He received his Physical Therapy Degree from Midwestern University in 2018, and has traveled to Mississippi, Arizona, and Kansas prior to 2020 world events bringing him back home. Zach believes it is a blessing to be home and joined the Sioux City Physical Therapy staff. Zach is also an avid Hawkeye, Yankee and fan of collegiate and international wrestling. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, more specifically, his new little nephew, and traveling to sporting events and national parks.
Krista Flewelling, PTA
Krista graduated from WITCC in 2010, and has been working for SCPT since 2011. She feels the most rewarding part of her career is having a direct impact on patients physical improvements -allowing them to lead a better life- and connecting with a wide variety of individuals. She and her husband, Blake, have 2 children, Carter and Kenzie. She enjoys working out, crafting, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Shelly Christophersen, Receptionist
Shelly is the newest member of our team. She will be the smiling face greeting you at the front desk and helping you schedule future appointments. She and her husband, Joe, live in Bronson, Iowa and enjoy spending time with their 2 adult kids while spoiling their 5 grandkids. She is happy to join us at SCPT, but when she is not at work, her and her husband enjoy riding their Harley.
